Posted a link today to one of these for sale on the forums.
Since I had never seen them before myself, started to do a little digging.
Seems they were made in 2005 and there were 2005 made of them.
Pretty nice materials especially for a Seiko 5. Titanium case, MM extension clasp, sapphire crystal, and tungsten bezel.
Im getting conflicting reports about size though, some sites say 40mm, some say 44, found one that said 42mm. Have an email into a guy selling one, to see what the actual size is.
Found some for sale at superchrono.com, price 850.

Just saw that there was a steel version as well. It is minus the tungsten bezel, minus the carbon weave dial, and minus the MM extension clasp as well.

Thank you for posting two similar yet very different watches Whoa,accidental Zen. I think that wratcheted extension is the coolest thing. Chef,I value your unsugarcoated opinions along with the rest of Freeks. Can I swap that clasp from my quartz Velatura to my autochrono limited edition Sorry for going off topic,Chef,had thought about buying the clasp,besides not wearing the quartz all that much,saving for a semi-grail and I m broke.

Shouldn t be an issue as long as the are the same size which if I remember correctly, they are. You just need to have the right tools to do it.

yeah, you should have no trouble swapping the clasp from the quartz to the auto i saw an auto this weekend at the Seiko Company Store in Leesburg, VA :c
Gonna buy a fast car, put on my lead boots and take a long, long drive

sup fellas. i am the hakalugi from above. this watch is unworn, other than a try-on session after a nice hot shower, sterilization complete. it feels fantastic and the bracelet is great. the bezel being tungsten adds weight to balance out the lighter ti case.
if you guys still need to know the size, let me know and i can blow the dust off the fancy case and measure it.
