As it turns out, I have 2 accounts with Sony, one for the PSP and one for the PS3.

When I download games to my PSP from the PS3, they tell me to Activate. When I activate I can run the games from the PS3 but not games I downloaded directly through the PSP. Now I can t run on-line stuff for Modnation Racers or Gran Turismo.

Can I merge my two accounts.

How can I fix this.

Can I have the games activated through my PSP be switched over to the PS3 account.

I bought DJ Max 3 from the US store and put it on my Vita, however.. I cannot play the game on my Asia account because it says the owner of this application is another player

Since Sony made the ridiculous decision of not allowing Vita owners to access content manager on different PSN accounts, the only way I can play this game is on the US account, which I don t want to do the only reason I use the US account is because Sony are too lazy to update PS stores with the same content as everywhere else

Is there any solution around this. My 20 purchase should be able to carry across PSN accounts, and not have to deal with this nonsence. Thanks in advance

Edit: Another thing which is amusing is that DJ Max 3 isn t even on the Asia store, despite being a Korean game, so US store is the only way to pick this up.

Since Mod Nation Racers requires to be activated to access the full content of the game like online gameplay I wanted to activate the game, but when I activate it over Account Managment and go back to the game and select Community Race and then Onlline Race in the Race Central, it still writes that I have to activate Mod Nation Racers to access some content.

Things you can do with remote play on a PSP that has WiFi :Look at most XMB menus and the internetWatch PlayTVAccess media music, pictures and non copy protected video Access video chat although if you actually start up a video chat no one can see you because you re not there. Play one or two games. There are very few games you can actually play remotely.

There is no reason to use remote play when you re close enough to your PS3 to connect via a USB cable. You can just use a DS controller or BD remote for that. The PSP has never been useable as an extra controller.

While it s an interesting feature Remote Play isn t really that useful I mostly use it as a smart remote control for when I m listening to music in another room.

The PSP E1000 is a low cost, hand held, personal game console. It s low cost because it doesn t have WiFi or all the features you used to get with a PSP.

If you want all that, Sony would prefer you to buy a Vita.

I would prefer it if the Vita was a personal, hand held PS3.

i am having problems with the psp and ps3 ive contect them together and still having problem i go to use the playstation R 3 network and it comes up with THE ACCESS POINT WAS NOT DECTECTED. THE SIGNAL OF THE ACCESS POINT MAYBE WEAK OR THE SSID U ENTERED MAY NOT BE CORRECT

when i have the connection name playstation R 3

and the ssid ps3-

and still wont work

I just bough a PSP go yesterday, and the games I got for it are all running fine. I do have a problem though, with the movie I bough.

I ve had no problems downloading it, however, when I attempt to activate my PSP go so it can run the movie, the PSP just proceedto the Activating Please wait screen. It s been on that screen for at least 30 minutes now, and it doesn t seem to want to be activated. Why is it that it took 5 seconds to activate my PSP for games, but it stil won t activate for movies.

Help please.

Realising the response may be very late, however:

You can use your PSPgo via WiFi and update via Internet on the console itself.

If this is not available, we d need to know when that error is occurring - you d need to be downloading the System Software to your PC, and transferring it to your PSPgo.

After unplugging your PSPgo from the PC, choose System Software via Storage Media.
