Adobe Cs3 Valid Serial Number

If you use Adobe Creative Suite 3 and if it stops working asking you to uninstall and then reinstall the application citing some license issue as shown below.

I guess what bothers me the most is that Adobe led me to believe, for about 5 years, that my copy of CS3 Extended was valid, when it turns out so they say that it is not.

I ve installed it a few times since it came out in 2007 machines come and go, and every time it registered successfully. If it s not legitimate, why keep telling me it is by way of a successful registration message. That s what really ticks me off about all this.

I need help from your legal department. I registered my CS3 photshop on 6/9/10. No problem. I now have a new compute since my old one crashed and I just purchased an upgrade to CS6. Now I am being told that the serial number, which I registered two years ago is not a valid number. i have opened a support case which Adobe closed because they said the serial number was not valid. I have the original factory, unopened packaging, high quality, two disc set CS3 and Video Workshop disc for Creative Suite 3 How to I get in touch with the legal department at Adobe regarding this issue.

I am going thru the same exact thing as Mark. I have had my CS3 since 07. Never had a problem with it. But when I go and try to upgrade to CS6. No can do. Been told the same exact thing. I was also told that I have to purchase CS 4, 5, 5.5 and 6 to get up to date. And that was from India. Then I was told that I dont have to purchase all of those. So I dont know what to believe now. Adobe is not the master of puppets. If something isnt resolved, I will have to go somewhere else where I dont feel that I am being lied to. Sorry, but I am getting to many different answers.

I saw this post before purchasing my upgrade from CS3 to CS6, so I thought I d put in my serial number in the registration field now and was alarmed to find it came up invalid. I have the same situation as above writers. I have a very official looking product box, disk, literature etc. and also thought I d been registering it all along as I updated PC s in last few years. Please contact me to address whatever work around is being used, or to verify my serial number for possible upgrade. As I understand it, I have until Dec 31 to complete my upgrade purchase. I tried to do an online chat but just kept getting disconnected. Thank you

I seem to be in the same boat as the above writers - purchased a CS6 upgrade believing that I had a genuine copy of CS3 PS extended looks absolutely genuine, with all the documentation, training DVD, packaging, etc. I even checked its authenticity from online advice on what to look for - labels, graphics, country of manufacture, serials, and it passed all the checks. However, when I try to install CS6, as in the cases above, it will not recognise either the installed CS3 program or the serial number. Adobe customer support basically told me that it s not their problem, as the CS3 software was purchased online Ebay - we do not support Ebay products. It seemed to register with no problems, and has run flawlessly since I got it.

Could it be that Adobe are just getting it wrong.

I m having a similar problem- i have cs3 but my husband bought me cs6 brand new in complete packaging never opened and tried to activate it on my computer only to get an error saying invalid serial number- he called customer support and was on the phone over an hour just to be told sorry its not a valid serial number there s nothing we can do - obviously we knew that already and was calling to get some answers as to why it was not working. Now we don t know what we are supposed to do and can t get any help from adobe.

I m another one. Purchased CS3 from Amazon years ago, registered it fine at the time and been working perfectly all this time. Now I ve bought an upgrade and I m being told the serial number is invalid. Jeffrey Tranberry, could you please send me an email also so you can verify my serial number. Seems funny all these people are having exacly the same problem with the same version of Photoshop. I ve just spent 230 pounds on an Adobe upgrade of a genuine product and I ve got nothing to show for it. Not happy at all.

Guess what. I am having the same problem. Had CS3 for years, registered it fine. Had to get a new computer and only came with Windows 8, which I only brought home yesterday, and have to upgrade to CS6. Sales is telling me my serial number is not legit, and there is nothing they can do. I even told her about this site, and that there a a lot of people having the same problems. I have the original box and all the contents. Today is the last day for the upgrade special. Please help me, too. Thanks.

I purchased my cs3 extended in 09 registered it, and have been using it with no problems since. Just purchased the upgrade to Cs6 extended, and can t install it due to the serial number that is on the cs3 package. I have checked my registry and it is the same serial number as the one on the package. I ve contacted live chat 3 times, and have had no luck. I m 65 years old and have little experience with customer support, I guess I ve been lucky. but the experience with adobe leaves me frustrated and sad. Any help you can supply would be extremely appreciated.

I have the same problem with my Adobe Photoshop CS 3 Extended I have the receipt the box and everything that was sent to me the seller ebay said everything was legal. . I even had a Adobe Customer Service Tech help me register it online by phone to be sure everything was legal . . when I got it he said everything looked good and he even sold me a upgrade for a regular Photoshop CS 4 . because I did not know the difference between a standard and extended at the time I wanted standard Photoshop. the upgrade CS4 would not work I had a tech help me install the upgrade he even tried to help me register it once again with no luck he told me every time I install CS4 to call and they would help . . I had to restore my computer a year later and it would not work I called to have them help and the refused to help me period . . and told me it was not valid. . so I have spent 200 - 300 for upgrade I used once. . it has been collecting dust since . . I have been using CS 3 all this I would just like to upgrade my Photoshop to the CS4 which I have now and paid for . . is there a way to do this. . any help would be appreciated

Wow - shocked at hoe janky Adobe is.

I always thought thought Adobe was a class act.

Super easy and more practical to download illegal versions of the software.

Well I am struggling with the problem as well.

A few years ago I purchases/installed and registered a copy of CS2 on my machine. A couple of months ago I upgraded to windows 7 when I put in a new hard drive.

When I went to install my software, it would load but said that my serial number was invalid. I called Adobe and they wanted me to reproduce my original receipt in order for them to help me. I had the original discs, packaging and the serial number but no original receipt. I went thru the scenario with customer service at length and the filed a report but I have not heard back form them.

Before calling them about the CS2 issues, I had decided to purchase a new copy of Adobe Photoshop CS6. It loaded on my machine and again, when I went to register it I got the message that the serial number that was on the box was invalid. When I contacted Customer service I was told that they would not help me since I purchased the SW from a store online. Now I am stuck with Adobe SW that I paid for and can not use.

I have Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended which I purchased approximately 4 years ago. The SN that is on a white sticker on the back of the installation CD case has always worked on my 2 older laptops that have crashed over a year ago.

I have bought a new laptop and installed CS3 directly from Adobe s site. I was unable to activate with the SN because I have reached the activation limit.When I chatted with the Adobe customer support online, he indicated that my SN is invalid. So now I am unable to activate my CS3 on my new laptop although I have been able to use the SN successfully on my other laptops.
